Carla recently showed me the old photo albums. I am fascinated by them, since I like history, especially local, Millbrae history and San Mateo County history. I photographed some of the old photos and news clippings and intend to publish one a month.

Milllbrae Nursery Marks Fifth Year

Millbrae Cooperative Nursery School parents celebrated the school’s fifth year in its own building at a special fathers’ night program, Tuesday, Nov. 7 1961. The school is an adult education project of the College of San Mateo.

All nursery school past presidents and their husbands were invited to attend a dessert and coffee hour and hear a talk on family law by Millbrae attorney Donald Cahen. He spoke on wills, contracts, and other legal matters important to every family.
