In the classroom we are going to be talking about black heritage, Martin Luther King Jr. his special words and works for peace and justice. We will be listening to music by Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Louie Armstrong, Etta James and other artists.

We will talk about the New Year 2010 and month. Sadly we say goodbye to Coda and his family; they found a house in the east bay and will be moving soon. We wish Henry and his family good luck too!
