Hi, my name is Jennifer Leaver and I am the new Board Secretary. Our older Natalie attended MNS for three years and graduated year before last. This nursery school runs in our family as I attended, my husband and our siblings also attended many years ago. We are very excited to be back at this wonderful school with our younger daughter Kaitlin who will joining the 2-3 year old class.

Hello everyone,
I’m Roxann Mitchell- Guiod. I was previously on the Millbrae Nursery School board when my son Jackson went to school here from ’07-’09 and am now returning with my daughter Annabelle and back on the board as your new Financial Clerk. We are both excited to be here again. Annabelle can’t wait to start school as she remembers her big brother going here, and they both giggle when I tell them that I went to this school when I was there age. There has been nothing but great memories here as well as great friendships made by both my children and myself. Being a part of this wonderful co- op has been the best experience for the whole family to watch, learn and grow together and we are glad to be back, meeting new friends as well as seeing the old ones.

Hello! My name is Christine Taylor (Special Events), and this is my second year at MNS. Last year, my daughter Sophia attended Pre-K, and her little brother Sean accompanied me on my work day. This year, Sean (2-1/2) will be attending MNS 3 days a week. My husband Mark and I love being a part of the MNS family, and our kids feel truly at home in this special school. In addition to being the mother of 2, I am a writer and a web designer. I look forward to working on creative and entertaining ways to raise money for our school this year!

My name is Tanya Abrams and I feel fortunate to have been part of the Millbrae Nursery School family for the past three years. My daughter, Leah Klein will be in teacher Brigidan’s 3 year old class. What a joy to see Leah’s face light up when I mention school…. she can’t wait to start again this fall.
I am thrilled to be giving back (as your Board Purchaser) to the school that has given so much to my children. Leah’s older sister blossomed socially and transitioned beautifully into her elementary school.
Not to forget to mention my husband, Kevin, says I will make the school proud with my “purchasing abilities”!

I am both excited and proud to begin my second term in the position of “Parent Education” on the board of MNS. This will also be my fifth year as a parent-teacher at MNS. My eldest daughter Olivia attended our program for three years, and will be entering the first grade at Spring Valley school. My youngest daughter Luciana will be entering the three year old class with Teacher Brigidan. I look forward to coordinating informative, and fun guest speakers, field trips, and family- centered events for our school. Past events that I have enjoyed arranging for MNS include CPR training,a disaster readiness presentation by the Red Cross, a parent-child conflict resolution workshop, a classroom visit by pediatric dentist “Dr. Nick”, weekly librarian and storyteller visits, MNS movie nights, Millbrae police and fire department visits, our end of year “family night”, and our annual trip to the pumpkin patch in Half Moon Bay. Please feel free to contact me with any special interests or ideas that you may have to further enrich our dynamic curriculum at MNS. I look forward to meeting our new parents and kiddos, and warmly welcome back our returning families and staff
