Teacher LiselleTeacher – Pre-K class

I have been teaching children for over thirteen years.  I have taught at the preschool and elementary school levels.  Working with children is an absolute inspiration in my life.

I was born in the Philippines and moved to Millbrae, California where I attended Taylor Middle School then South City High School.  In high school, through my Spanish teacher, I volunteered to teach Spanish songs to a 1st grade class and found my calling!  I’ve known since then that I would work hard to become a teacher.

Early Childhood Education, English, Art, and Dance classes were my favorite in college.  I earned my AA in Liberal Arts and zoomed to sunny San Diego.  There, I learned to juggle work, school, and major volleyball/beach time! Home was calling, and soon after I earned my BS in Liberal Studies (Human Development). I packed up my things and headed back to the Bay Area, where my heart truly is!

I currently hold a Site Supervisor permit in Early Childhood Education, and am taking classes and attending workshops to continue developing and be up-to-date with teaching methods.  I am so ecstatic to be a part of Millbrae Nursery School and look forward to our growth with each other.
