The children from the Pre-K class were really excited that the fire fighters visited them last Thursday. The children got a tour of the fire truck and a look inside.

Everyone could try out the fire hose and got a helmet at the end. What a fun event!

Purchases of $50 or more that give us a commission of $2 or more count towards your fund raising total. To get proper fund raising credit, please inform Sonja or Carla of purchases though this portal. It is crucial that you include the purchase amount and date for us to match.

We are also in the process of opening an Amazon Store using the same principle. I have not gotten any feedback yet as to which items to put into the store, so it is still empty. In the meantime please use the search boxes above, or in the sidebar to the right. Later on anything you find in our store or through our store gives us a commission. This way, we can all suggest our favorite books, toys, products, etc. and when someone buys them in “our” store, we get the commission. For example, you could use this to make a birthday wish list for relatives to buy from. Please suggest books and other merchandise to Sonja.

Siblings under two (2) years of age will be allowed at no charge when the following guidelines are met:

1. The attendance of the child has been arranged with the teacher or Admissions Coordinator prior to the parent’s workday.
2. Only one (1) child under the age of two(2) will be allowed per class session.
3. For the safety of all children, the sibling must be supervised by his or her parent while the parent accomplishes their assigned workday duties.
4. The State adult:child ratio must be maintained.

Siblings two (2) years or over will be allowed when the following guidelines are met:

1. The attendance of the child has been arranged with the Director prior to his or her attendance.
2. The child must be between the ages of two (2) and six (6).
3. The child will be billed at the drop in extended care rate.
4. The child’s care and safety will be the responsibility of Millbrae Nursery School.

PAID WORKDAY

If you are doing a workday for pay you will only be able to bring one (1) child who is currently enrolled in the school program with you on that workday. NO siblings less than 2 years or over 7 years will be allowed to accompany you on a paid workday.

We are not picky and will gladly accept second-hand items, as long as they are clean enough and usable. So please keep an eye out, especially if you see these items for free, or if you’re willing to buy them at garage sales, etc., to give to the school.
