Tuesday we got together and made flowers for the San Bruno Posy parade. Everybody had fun, we got a lot of flowers made and are ready for even more people at the next event tomorrow.

I watched Liselle talk to kids about race and color and explain a lot – I had never assumed it to be necessary, as we have lots of friends of different races but she explained it to me, almost 1/2 a year ago. Had I not gotten it it back then, at least today I would have really understood.

Millbrae Nursery School celebrated our annual “Family Night” with a Hawaiian “Ohana” theme. Families dressed Hawaiian style, complete with lei’s and grass skirts. Dancers from the Westlake School of Performing Arts treated us to a memorable night of Polynesian entertainment, and a group hula lesson.
